INTEK-FOREX (Heat Transfer System Cleaner) is a nonhazardous, biodegradable, near neutral product formulated to rapidly dissolve metal oxides and carbonates from heat transfer systems, without damaging the base materials, and without the attendant hazards associated with acidic or alkaline products. It effectively and safely removes iron oxide as well as calcium carbonate scales
INTEK-FOREX effectively removes scales in heat transfer systems, without deleterious effect to equipment or underlying materials of construction. and encrustations, even in the presence of light oils. It is also safe to use with most synthetics and nonmetallics.

INTEK-FOREX is a concentrated, green liquid that mixes readily with water in all proportions. It is easily administered using conventional heating and circulating equipment or baths. There are no special precautions required for handling, such as dealing with chemical odors or fumes.

INTEK-FOREX is typically used at 10% concentration for light amounts of iron oxide, and up to 20% for heavier deposits. Ideal application temperature ranges from 180°F to 200°F; however, INTEK-FOREX will dissolve scales and deposits at temperatures as low as ambient, with increased exposure times. The exposure time required doubles for each 10°C decrease in temperature.
